On this note, I've always wondered about the Hitmons. The first two were named after male fighters Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee, and it got me to thinking: what if there were Hitwomons? Would they be named after famous female fighters, or just to be a bit more original and freash, would they be named after female players of sports like tennis or soccer?
I've always thought it would be an interesting concept, and in my opinion, Game Freak needs to get on it, as it is an idea that for the sake of equality in the Pokedex is WAY past due!
I bet they'd be great if they were real.
Though this recent gen has given us some good ones like Salazzle, and Tsareena - both of whom are powerful in their own rights.
I'm sorry I went on like that......it's just an idea I've had in my head for a while. I just thought that having Hitwomons would be cool.

The only trouble is, there aren't any (or at least I can't think of any) female figures in sports or action movies that have have the lasting cultural impact like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee. The few people that come close don't have the "one defining feature" or action like Chan and Lee, where they can be simplified to punching and kicking.
