Description
This commission was requested by a Pokemon Go player, Mexmyra. She wanted the image to be similiar to the style of the art in Pokemon Go. It was quite the challenge, but very fun to try out. I think it was a pretty successful first attempt. She wanted Magikarp, Lugia, Eevee, Lumineon, and Detective Pikachu included with her trainer. Mexmyra wanted sandals, white capri's, and red painted nails. She also wanted to wear the detective pikachu hat, and keep the pony tail. I was able to pick the t-shirt design and sandal design myself. Since her character wears a lot of orange, I decide to style her with an orange t-shirt. The t-shirt design is not an option in pokemon go so I created my own simple design that would go with her pikachu hat, and created a pikachu tail design. Since she wanted I lot of water type pokemon in her image, I thought the ocean scene would be perfect for her. This is a fairly new, work-in-progress, type of style but I was very welcoming to the challenge. I absolutely loved creating this character!
