Wisty is a psychiatrist and a talented mind-reader, who works in New Bridgeport's psychiatric ward. She tries to use her abilities to understand and help those who end up in there. But as it turns out, spending so much time around the mentally ill isn't good for a sensitive mind-reader. Wisty can feel their pain, and experiences depression and schizophrenia and everything all at once, every day. She starts to think that some of the tortured souls in her care are beyond saving. Maybe the merciful thing to do is just to end their suffering - and then she wouldn't have to suffer alongside them anymore.

Wisty's design has given me more than a few headaches over the years. But I think I've finally found something I really like!
