Very old drawing I pulled out of my scraps and revamped a bit. My OC's Jon and River on the day of their first encounter with one another.

Color Skin: Medium tanned brown
Build: Medium and very tonned
Hair: Sandy Brownish Blond
Eyes: Green in deep green
Hight: 5' 10" and still growing
Weight: 150 lbs. about 3% body fat (would be less if Mama Trinity ( calls her Rin) didn't cook so good.

Birth Parents: Unknown.
Raised by Navia a white wolf of a migrating timber wolf pack throughout Nevada, Utah, and
California until he was found at the age of around 14. Sent into the foster care system under
the care of Carlos Antonio Mendez and his wife Trinity Nicole Mendez, who later adopted
him.

Education: His saw great potential in him and send him to a all boys magnet school for the gifted (btw was a great fit: because his weird quirks and great intellect made him "cool" among his classmates). Here he excelled in higher Math (such as Physics and Calculus) and deductive problem solving and science (he used all his senses to their fullest).

Charactists that make him unique: has strange social skills (duh! raised by wolves) Sees nothing wrong with going around naked or barely clothed (agina, duh!). Loves soving difficult puzzles and mysteries. Happy just writing out long equations on a board and trying to solve them with his buddies at school. He is very shy around girls ( they smell strange: thanks to perfume). He will sniff people and has also been known to lick the people he really likes and give glomping bear hugs. Any time there is a camping trip or nature hike, he's there. Loves fishing (doesn't use a pole, but catches them bare handed or with a wooden spear.) Jon has great balance and speed. He joined his schools cross country track team and won many meets.
Loves growing things… anything even weeds ( his adoptive mother didn't understand the medical value of dandelions and rooted them up much to Jon's Dismay). Digging is so much fun (yes the Mendezes had many holes in their yard when Jon first came to them hence Mrs Mendez introduced Jon to gardening).
Favorite scents the smell of the earth after a rain. However, he fear lightning, greatly fears it (brings up horrible memories) causes him to hide in the darkest smallest place he can find. But he still loves to stand in a lovely rain.
Lives in the moment. Personal slogan: "Worry about it, when you get there, if there is anything then to worry about!"
He has a tight nit group of buddies he hangs with.
Later in college he finally meets a girl who greatly catches his attention. He feels like he knows her from somewhere and she reminds he greatly of his life with the pack. Her name is River Fox. And at first he thinks she must be really stuck up or he must have done something to make her hate him ( he did sniff her hair). But what really greatly confuses him is the sent of a wolf pack around her even thou she is all decked out to the nines and is carrying a really tiny yappy dog when he sees her for what he believes is the first time.

Some short History:

Young Drama: Jon is found by his wolf mother at the age of 3yrs after he becomes lost in the wood and cries himself to sleep. [a Knight ibid: the Great Wolf Spirit turns him into a cub] He grows up with the younger wolves and get along great with his pack. Learns to become a great tracker and hunter. [In his human form] When he becomes older [can switch between his forms] he starts to utilize rocks and stones to make hunting tools. Can read the air (can distinguish between sents and tell how far away prey is located). Learns by accidents how to make fire at 9 yrs of age. This make him a bit feared by his pack mates, but somehow the alpha leader is pleased by this. Jon starts to cook his meet more often by fire then by his stone oven (that uses sunlight). Late he learns how to combine the stones and fire for prolonged heat. Starts rummaging local farmers gardens for other sources of food: eggs, dairy and vegetables. He is adored by his wolf mother and his young pack mates hang with him to reap the benefits of his labors. Okay they think he's cool. He continues to grow in strength and speed.
At age 12 he starts to become a threat to the third in command. Jon is forced to fight him to protect his mother and his place among the pack. Jon wins and becomes the new 3rd. Making mama wolf very proud. [he fights him as a wolf]
At age 13 while he and his mother are hunting with the pack, his mother is shot by a poacher. A wild violent storm comes in over them as he tries to stop the wound on his mother from bleeding [he has to change to human form to do this]. He is able to remove as much of the buck shot as possible before lightning starts hitting all around them. He carries his wolf mother to the safety of a cabin not to far away. It is vacant and he has to break in. He turns over the cabin looking for anything to stop the bleeding. He is able to find a sewing kit and looking through pitchers in the kit he figures how to use it on his mother to close the wound. In all the excitement he is unaware that they have been followed by the lone wolf the third who was run out by him from the pack. Since Jon is in a high stressed state and waiting for his mothers eyes to open. He doesn't here the window braking when the lightning strikes. He and his mother are attacked by the rival wolf. The Rival tears Navia from Jons arms and then His mother is killed before she even regains consciousness causing Jon heart to break. Jon goes mad with grief and tackles the wolf [still in his human form] they end up in the kitchen where Jon is able to find a shard pointy knife and put a end to the rivals attacks. Jon goes back to his mother and stays by he side howling in misery and grief until he is fully exhausted. He is found the next morning asleep by his mothers dead body by a family renting the cabin for a vacation. They are quite surprised to find a buck naked boy and their cabin in the condition it is in.

Born on Reservation outside Reno, Nevada to Samuel Fox and Ma'narie Fox. Has an older sister (8 yrs. difference) that now lives in New York (following after their mothers career of modeling) and a younger brother who is in middle school.

Education: She went to the reservation school for her elementary years. But after her father acquired the Resort and her mother landed her own fashion line she was transferred to a private school. Then later attended a finishing school in her mother's hopes to have her become more "lady-like". Alas those hope are still going and River is still a "tom-boy." She graduated near the top of her class in academics. And wants to become a zoologist like her grandfather. With a minor in sociologies. She hasn't really made up her mind yet where she will go with it. She is in her 2nd semester of her freshman college year since she started early during the sumer at a college that would keep her close to the pack she and her grandfathers have been interacting with for a long time. She's a real go getter and when she puts her mind to something she wants to see it through to the end however it turns out.

Some History and Characteristics:
She loves her grandparents greatly and cherishes her great-grandfather immensely. On her summer breaks and all other holidays she can be with her grandfather and great-grandfather following them into the mountains to interact with a pack of grey timber wolves. [Her Grandfather is the tribes chief and her great-grandfather is the shaman or spiritual guide. Their external studies are: Grandfather is a Dr. of Veterinary in Zoology who is also an animal behaviorist specializing in wolf packs. Great Grandfather is a Doctor of alternative medicines who studied different methods from all over the wold and traveled to do so]. It took several long months for the pack to accept the old geezers, but only one day to accept River when she was only 4. Her grandfathers say she has been blessed by the Great Wolf Spirit. She finds every chance she can to go and see them. She loves to camp and sleep out under the stars.

Her mother is baffled by her behavior and says that River reminds her of her younger sister Rera, who is in her words is a "Tom-boy loving tha climbing trees, crazy girl. Always into mischief hugging tha nature and runin' through da dirt, an jump'n ov'r da falls. Not know what it is to chase after da boys. Funny doe da boys they would a chase after that girl. She had not a clue, that a crazy Rera!" Her mother gave up trying to dress River in "cute" cloths by the time she was 12 yrs. since they always ended very dirty or torn beyond repair. River forever became a tuff and tumble jeans and t-shirt girl.

However, River grew into a beautiful woman by her mid-high school years. With her lean figure and unique skin and eye color she had all the boys attention. But her tom-boy behavior kept most away and only the advid nature freaks as close friends. Besides most were scared of her father, who was built like a brick house and had a very impressive killer stare.
Her mother was even able to conned her into helping her and there with some of her junior fashion shows [most cons were camping trips with the gramps]. However, River has a very hard time walking in high-heels [she absolutely hates them].

River is able to make friends easily. But she has only a tight group of close friends who share her love of the outdoors. They will go hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, and camping a lot on their weekends near campus; that is when River isn't with the pack. However, only her family know about her "running with the wolves." She feels like none of her friends would understand her love of her "pack" or they may get a little too curious and not know how to handle themselves around the pack. Her best friend is her cousin and college room-mate, Alexia (Alex for short); they are the same exact age [born on the same night] and of course grew up together as children. When she found out that Jon was going to the same college she attended, she was very excited and couldn't waite to meet him. She never thought she would have ever have the chance to meat someone else so closely related to wolves other than her grandparents. But unfortunately her first encounter with him, she was dressed for a fashion show holding her mothers annoying yappy dog. Totallly emabaraced!

River has a younger (very annoying at times) little brother, Maxwell. Who is also called lil' coyote, because he loves pulling pranks. He is very unhappy his sister is in college now. he idolizes her and love the fact that she can "run with the wolves." However, he is too terrified to go outdoors no matter how hard River has tried to get him over it by taking him along on various camping trips. He will hide in his tent most the time and not come out unless he can hang onto his sits the whole time outside. River is at her wit's end with this "stupid phobia!"

Her older Sister, Moon, lives in New York {to follow an acting career} and since there is such an age gap they don't really talk much, just come together mostly on special occasions. She loves her sister but lets the fashion/acting thing be her sister's own thing with their Mother who is a fashion designer/retired-model [who did some acting too].

River's father is to be the next chief of their tribe, but some questions are raised to his abilities of leadership. Not that he isn't a good leader, but why did he join the Peace Corpse and go off to some foreign land to find a wife when there are plenty of good ones at home, is still beyond the comprehension of some of the noisy busy body elders of the tribe. [by the way he was not looking, it just happened; and the P.C. was something of a "walk-about" for him]. He now runs/owns a four star golf and hotel/spa resort along the reservations lands ( they have one of the few hot springs around that have been known to help "cure" many body illnesses. and hold "pow-wows" there also) However, one of the odd things about this resort is that is doesn't have a casino. Not a slot machine in sight and he wants to keep it that way!
