Description
Inspired by ~Kethrian 's exception medieval fantasy Claire story (part 1 [link] part 2 [link] part 3 [link] ), Claire Meets Blackrose here is Severain, the mage slayer with his *ahem* personal attendants, Jeryn and Amber.~Kethrian has gone to great lengths to craft and sculpt the medieval fantasy side of the Plisskinverse and this current story is his best to date.
On the arty side, obviously you can see Joe Mad's influence in this image, most notably the art from Darksiders although who could forget Marvel Ultimates 3? Sexy, sexy stuff, no doubt about it.
Anyway, rambling aside, this is a WIP as you may have noticed, there's nothing in Sev's raised hand and Amber is missing her wings for instance, so the final version will probably be quite different.

Don't know about the MAD influence (don't know what it is, really), but I do like the style.

The "MAD influence" (which is now starting to sound like a mid-70's gangster film) is from Joe Madueria who was the artist for Marvel Ultimates 3 and the Darkstalkers computer game recently but was a bit of a superstar a few years back in the comics work. Cheers mate, there's a lot of parts of this I like despite the somewhat negative tone of my comment. I'm particularly pleased with Jeryn's face and Sev's kilt wrapped around his torso
