4 june 2023 update.

One thing I have always liked about fallout 3,
but feels (for me at least) that most people
forgets or dont mention when they are saying
that its not a good rpg, is that with the intro
being ones childhood, one does not need to
imagine your own background.

This might sound as a bad thing but to me it has
always been a perfect recreation, or summary of
a typical childhood, and there by it also simulates
a very natrual passing from child to grownup.

As u can see, I have a hard time explaining myself
here.

But when u look at the world of fallout then u
probobly imagne the most of the population to
have 3 backgrounds, 1. growing up in the wasteland,
2. growing up before the great war or,
3. being born in a wault.

So giving the player one of these backgrounds puts
them in some ways on equal ground with the rest of
the wastelanders.

It could have probobly been more more to it than the
3 smal segments in the intro to make it more intresting,
giving the player more choices that could backfire later
would have been nice, but then again, an intro should be
as breef as it can possible be to not have players bored
out before they can really get into it, or for those who
like it to not hesitate to replay it just beqause of the intro.

It might sound wierd but to me it always made sense
that u get born into the world, and I think more games
sould try it, if nothing else then just for the emersion.
