Well, the right shoulder is such an important part of the body, after all. You've got to keep it safe, but that's also why you want to keep the armor protecting it in excellent shape. It's a sign of self-neglect to have a blemished spaulder on that shoulder. You wouldn't want people thinking your some sort of heathen by leaving it dirty, would you?
