Thank you.
I very much respect and admire the Native American people. That's why I wanted to put something of what they represent on paper. I planned on creating a whole gallery concerning this topic. But somehow I became absorbed in other works and styles as well.
However, I think it's about time to return to this one.

Thank you. Well, that's what my art teacher also told me: that despite the fact that most of the animals and things I draw are not that extraordinary, I have a quite unusual technique, which makes the final piece quite unique though.
I think that's because I have never taken proffessional drawing lessons at all (unfortunately our school is totally concentrated on PAINTING and not DRAWING and misses to support individual characters and styles as far as art is concerned). I have been drawing since my early childhood and somehow I managed to create my individual technique and style though - although I'm able to switch styles by now.

Art kinda runs in my family. I havent taken any lessons either. I started seriously trying to draw when i was 11. I saw an anime called Inuyasha and i started drawing the characters. I started watching more anime soon after. Like Wolf's Rain. I learned from drawing anime characters and copying what i saw on tv. Then like 2 years ago i got an art book from the library and it tought me how to shade. Im 19 now and art is my life. I regretably dont have a clearly visible style like you have though. It really is unique and pretty. Lol you dont have to worry about someone stealing your art. XD

Well, thank you again for the kind and reassuring words. ^^
Should I tell you something? I am totally amazed at the similarity:
I have always been drawing since my early childhood (,horses and cats being my main "guinea pigs" back then, XD). However I started seriously practising at the age of 12 or 11, no longer concentrating on pets anymore. Suddenly I also started drawing manga sketches and characters as well as wolves(!) - and guess what inspired me?!... Right: Wolf's Rain etc! (By the way,Inuyasha also was the first manga I watched, too.)
Now I'm 19 (surprise, surprise! XD) and drawing is one of my main pasttime activities, giving me the oppurtunity to be creative, relax and forget what is going on around me at the same time. I think it's a wonderful thing to have the gift to be creative and to be able to put one's dreams and ideas on paper.
And I HONESTLY believe that you do have such a gift as well!! I really appreciate your art - you have an AMAZING gallery! Concerning the art itself (style, colouring and especially the way you focus on the details) as well as the subject of your works. (As an admirer of nature and canines especially, I have to underline this fact of course! ^^)
Really, I mean it: I take my hat off to you!
And I sincerely hope to have the oppurtunity to exchange experiences and views concerning art, everybody and his dog with you in the near future! ^^
