Well... it's been two weeks now that I've finished Life is Strange, and... well, I still don't feel all too well about it. It literally took me days to decide, in my head, which ending to take.This is my way to try and feel better about it. I need to think that, somehow, Max and Chloe will always be together.
But damn... this game ate my soul.

Drawn using Cintiq 13HD and Photoshop CC. I made a bazillion of reference screenshots from within the game (for drawing Max and Chloe but also the background), and fiddled with the model exports to help me come up with a pose.

Max's heartbroken expression is dead on.
I want someone to hug her and not let go. With all the nightmare shit she's had to deal with she'll have to cry for weeks.

I think I was looking almost the same when I finished the game. Torn and heartbroken, I actually made this piece to try and handle the feelings...

I love this ! I made a fan art of LIS too, but these type of works makes me wish to have aΒ graphic tablet to reach this kind of detail.Β
I like them both and the scenery, but my favorite is max, I literally can see the pain in her eyes Β and the hair is really good.Β

Yes, the graphics tablet helped me a lot with drawing with colors. While they are not exactly cheap, the Intuos series from Wacom are great, and not as expensive as their Cintiq. They also have the cheaper Bamboo series, but I do not know how good they are. You might want to look into that!

I got that impression. But this still works. And really well, I might add. Anyone who's played the game knows what's going on in this scene. But like many us, the fictional character that is Chloe, just feels so freaking real! So you kinda broke the fourth wall here. That's how this piece speaks to me, anyway :3
