Love is when somebody gives you a shoulder to cry on.Love is when somebody makes you laugh when you're sad.
Love is when you miss somebody whenever they are gone.
Love is when whenever you see that person you feel glad.
Loving somebody is choosing not to see their flaws.
A human being will never be perfect.
Everything that person does you will give a loud applause.
Cause in your eyes everything that person does is correct.
You want them to smile.
You would work extra just to be with that person.
Even if it would be just for a while.
Love is unconditional, that's the truth.

I haven't thought about your poem the way ~media-boy had, mostly because I had that one person in my mind.
And yet, it seemed utterly true to heart.
I will make a grammar correction, however. In the line, "Cause in your eyes everything that person does is correct," the word 'cause' is pronounced as cause, as in cause and effect. Not, the slang of 'because'. To do that, a more accepted way is to write it like this: 'cause. That way, others know you're abbreviating the word.
However, I myself prefer the full word over abbreviations.
But that's up to you.

Love is not selfish, Love is wanting to sacrifice something for somebody, it's being selfless not selfish

I normally don't voice my disagreements with an artists work, but that's what this place is for (at least in part).
I agree with everything except the second paragraph.
"Loving somebody is choosing not to see their flaws." (so I guess punishing people for murder is wrong, or letting someone wallow in their flaws)
"A human being will never be perfect." (true, but this is giving an excuse to do what they want)
"Everything that person does you will give a loud applause." (I'll never applaud evil)
"Cause in your eyes everything that person does is correct." (then why is there good and evil?)
This part of your poem is not about "Love" it's about differential acceptance. Which is a lot different.

This is a fact. I don't mean to sound rash, but peoples words (especially those on things such as love) are more powerful than we think. The problem is that hardly anyone "Proves" anything anymore. I beg you, please, 'prove' what you belive! Thank you for responding.

Problem is with things like these is that you can't do a scientific research to what the meaning is, not everything in life has proof. That's what why try to see how close we can get to finding the meaning.

So is there no such thing as correction? It's a sad day when someone can see their fellow man falter and decide not to try and correct them out of fear of rejection or their own inability to have compassion. I cant tell you how greatful i am that those around me, who know better than i, have bothered to correct me. And just fyi-the greatest level of love is laying down your life for someone else.
This all may sound harsh, but I'm acutely saying this because I care enough to correct. I'm not perfect by any means, but I have encountered this level of love before.

I know what the meaning of love is myself, I once attempted suicide for the one I love myself. But this thing was requested by a friend of mine, so I had to put his opinion in there as well even though I sometimes don't really agree with him over things like these, he can actually make a good point once a while.

Don't really agree with all of the things mentioned in this poem but I always admire people who wrote love poetry because it's such a personal topic and all.

The only minor, minor gripe is the "Loving somebody is choosing not to see their flaws."
Love should be accepting ones flaws, and helping to better them.

There are some things we can't change, some of these things some people will find annoying but if you love somebody then you won't even notice those things because they are irrelevant to you
