That's a great idea, however, there are so many groups for Big Bang. It may be redundant. I can never believe how many k-pop groups there are on DA.

Yeah I love K-pop but, I wouldn't join a group, then we could have t-shirst that say 'We are not a Big Bang fan club club' there you go, that way we are a big bang club but not a fan club...if that made sence, alot of the time, these things sound better in my head

I use prismacolor mostly, but there are better brands than prismacolor as well. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for in pencils. You're definitely right about that.
Some other brands I may look at are Derwent and Faber-Castell. They are artist professional quality, but prismacolor also falls with those as well. It just depends how much you want to spend and the kind of color you are looking for.

ah yes you see I have seen many brands on Da like prismacolors , carand'arche orz smth like that , Koh I noor and Fabercastell.
I think Fabercastell is most used because the quality is better and your pictures turn out smooth.


But the price is a bitch XDDD I think I will buy a set first of 24 pencills I think that should be enough for a try out and besides my level of art doesn't deserve expensive tools yet hahaha poor me XDDD

Exactly! I've heard many good things about all those brands. I've used Fabercastell briefly but I couldn't keep up with the cost (and that was before I was serious about colored pencil work)
The price is such a bitch. I think you have a great idea. I started out with a set of 24 and it worked out fine. I did a few of my earlier works in my gallery with those. Then I found prismacolor for cheap on ebay so it worked out. Best of luck! Just experiment and who knows, maybe you will love it so much you'll buy the 132 set XD Every artist starts somewhere!

wow! Thank you for such a lovely and thought-out comment! I did use prismacolor actually. I went through quite a few of them for this. I FRIGGEN LOOOOVE GD TOO! I LOVE the song Butterfly! It has such a unique MV. He is so talented it hurts. XD He is such a great composer too. Haru Haru and Lies forever will be in my top favorite songs. ^.^

LOL ur welcome. I have another question, sry if this bothers u, does it make a difference when I use a different kind of brand of pencil crayons, like say for example, if you use crayola pencil crayons (the cheapest pencil crayons) would the outcome be the same as when you use prismacolors???

I luuvv Haru Haru and Lies!!!! Actually, Lies was the first k-pop song I listened to. After I listened to most of Big Bang's songs, I discovered other k-pop artists, and now I fell in love with k-pop music, lol this happened just recantly, like last August I think.

I like giving and receiving long and nice comments.

It never bothers me! I love when people ask questions, always feel free to ask anything. Pencil brands actually make quite a difference, sadly. I have used crayola when first studying and they work fine for practice. However, cheaper brands use a sort of wax with their color and it makes it very hard to blend and get smooth color. What I would recommend, is buying maybe a few prismacolor pencils individually just to try and experiment. You should notice a difference right away when comparing them. Prismacolor blend much easier, have better quality wood (good for sharpening), and cover the paper more smoothly compared to crayola. Either work, and I've seen some incredibly talented artists using crayola just fine. Unfortunately, the more you spend, the better results you get. There are some even better brands out there that I've tried and love, but they just get so costly. I hope that helps! Let me know if you want to known anything else.

I'm so glad Big Bang introduced you so gracefully into K-pop. I would have to say BoA and DBSK were my first over seven years ago and I will never forget them. Lies has to be...dare I say...My favorite song of all time as of now. It's so beautiful and I love hearing it acoustic on piano or guitar too. I hope you find many more artists to love!

I heard from a lot of people that prismacolors makes a big difference, but I just wanted a very gud explainaition on why that brand is better at colouring, which u basically just answered. Ok thanks , I'll try getting the 10 pack prismacolor pencils.

LOL I luv Lies, especially the mv! xD lmao TOP on the cart made me laugh so hard. And I like how they stalk the girl while they're singing, just like in Haru Haru xD. My faaave k-pop song is Haru Haru, I loved the story in that song. When I read english translation, I literally cried sooo much! Well yeah thank u so much for the reply

The brands really do make a difference. Those companies know what they're doing good luck with future projects! A 10 starter pack will be perfect to try. I think you'll be able to see a clear difference when you play around a little bit. Their color materials are much softer than crayola or prang.

It's a total tossup between Haru Haru and Lies for me. I love both songs so much, it's hard to choose. Some people have claimed that Haru Haru is the second part of the Lies story (lyric story, not MV), so I guess that fits. The translations are just beautiful!
