Rise is not connected to the 2012 show, Rise of the Tmnt is it's own separate prequel. Did you not read the description? It says that it takes place in a world without the Mutant Apocalypse. (Also, Donnie's brain is not in jar, it's in robot body. Furthermore, Raph later shaves his beard, Mikey is an old man, and Leo is a double mutant)
