Watercolor pencils are pencils with watercolor pigment in the center. When you draw with them, they look just like colored pencil. However, when you paint over them with water, the pigment becomes watercolors. They're an interesting medium to work with

ah understand i will this so tell because i self a set have from Watercolor pencil but still not used. I try to first color pencil to used for that colouring and by price are this very good by me. But Watercolor pencil are too good if someone to a water effect try for drawing the what with water to do have

You just take a regular paintbrush and a cup of water, then paint water over your colored pencil drawing. It takes a couple tries to get a good technique, but it's definitely worth the trouble.

Yeah, its best to use watercolor paper, which can hold a lot of water.
