Its in episode 6 (Cruel Dilemma) when Jeremy failed to materialise Aelita, he talked to himself: " I’m beginning to wonder if I’m up to the job…if I’m good enough for a complicated program!". Its not the dilemma but that scene I missed the most about the episode. The thought that one can do nothing for his love is painful.In this drawing, Jeremy is somewhere in Sector 5.

He finally got the way to get the girl of his dreams, and he gives it up without a second thought for his friend, and Aelita is proud of him for it. This is why they are the OTP.

Somehow reminds me of the episode "Just in time", when Jeremy (again) thought he was so close, so so close to his Aelita, and it end up as a disaster
