You know, I really can't remember the last time I submitted something that was born from me being really silly. You can thank *AngelBless for this one - she's been playing around with the idea of summoners merging with summons in Final Fantasy, and the first thing that popped into my head was a merge with a Cactuar. It was a case of take your pick of who it was going to be, but when you think of Squall and his furry jacket, belts (you realise just how much of a 'thing' for belts Nomora has when you have to remember to draw them all) and leather trousers, well, he may as well have had a neon sign over his head.

Lets face it, not the most terrifying sight in the world (far more likely the enemy will laugh themselves to death, if your party hasn't already) and he looks more of a marrow than a cactus, but - dare I say it? I think he has more personality as a Cactuar (even if he still has the same limited phrasebook). Btw could someone confirm if I spelt Cactuar right?

A thought just struck me. What would it be like to bump into a cosplayer of this guy at a convention?

Edit: After being informed by my sister, and finally remembering to do it, I've corrected my spelling of Cactuar (didn't realise I'd switched from correct to incorrect and back again).
