...More progress on an on-going piece I hope to finish before January is over. Although, J-term is becoming more intense lately so I don't know if I will be or not. I will post the progress though.

Actually, I know exactly how you mean! When I first started with DeviantArt I had no idea there were people doing some of the things I'm trying out now, but I think for me it all comes with practice. Illustrator is a fun program. You should try it out some time.

so far it seems true to your style, and the colouring is great, the shadow lines on the eyes seem a bit hard and sharp though, and seem to kinda stand out against the other smooth lines, probably something you were already working on, but i thought i'd poke it anyway XD;
doing great so far ^^
i still say i love the hair colour.. and texture XD

The top of the head looks a little tall. But if it's part of the style, it's totally fine. Also, he doesn't seem to have any eyebrows. Otherwise it looks super great!
