This is an amazing drawing. The detail is fantastic, and a nice deep colour with lighter shades would complement it nicely

I think dark blue with light yellowish green for the scales. Probably a yellowish orange for the stomach and yellow for the eyes and other features

Hmmm, dark shades of green mixed with lighter ones would look great. Just my opinion, but any colour would fit this great drawing! Great work so far!
