As a photograph, this is quite nice.. I like that the center of focus is on the train-tracks that go off into the shadows and bend. I like to total composition, and the distance you chose to go back from the pedestrian crossing over the tracks.
I think that some editing would have worked really well with this shot to bring it up a few notches: i would suggest.. softening the shadows, and bringing down the hues and vibrance. Or a black and white / vintage coloration might have worked well!
with your camera (if not a point-and-shoot) play with the depth of field? Focus more in the back of the tracks than having the entire scene in whole.
