Description
An owl creature lost in a house.God, this thing kept screwing with me all the way, at one point I was like "screw it this one goes to the doodle collection". But as I copied it and put it in a new document, I suddenly saw the possebillity to turn it into this.
Also, I saw this creature in a dream, it met me and my friends as we were riding hippogryphs thru the air, and for some reason it was not happy to se us so we fled.

whoa, this is different.
you used more layers than usual, it gave a certain depth to a picture - a viewer can see it's not just a mere display of a character (not that you don't do that well, too), you gave the character its background story, too.

I'm always stricken with the same problem, I concentrate on the character too much, so I don't pay too much attention to the background - this is so amazing, because you've shown you can very well present the background you surround your magnificent creatures with.
