This is for a contest being held by

Her contest had many themes one of which was her horse, Gatsby, and one of which was flying. I decided to combine the two.

She says her horse is grouchy and doesn't like much besides eating. So here we have a grouchy pegasus based on her horse which is a stocky white stallion with a white mane and tail, as you see

According to the artist's journal she got injured and there is a delay in judging so I still don't know. I'm so excited/impatient I can hardly stand it but hey she can only do what she can do being hurt

I gotta say wow, the colors, especially for the background, make the illustration pop. and I love the simple lines and yet there is a lot of expression going on here.
