History:
Sedgekit was born along with his older littermates, Dustkit, Lightningkit, and Heatherkit to Owlwhisper and Fiercebounce of MoonClan. His kithood is uneventful, although it's noted that he formed a strong bond with Heatherkit, the only molly in the litter and was often shunned by Fiercebounce because of it, who spoke up for the both of them and was often his voice in the games that they played as kits and where one goes so does the other. As apprentices, Heatherpaw was more prone to spend time with Dustpaw, after he showed her a move that her mentor had thought that she was too small and fragile to learn. Sedgepaw was forced to come out of his shell and found that when he did speak, it was overly loud and insulting, which would often result in him checking the elders for ticks and moss collecting. Because of this, his apprenticeship was delayed somewhat and he couldn't spend enough time with Heatherpaw and Dustpaw. Lightningpaw was often trying to excel in all his training because unlike Dustpaw who was a natural at everything, Lightningpaw was clumsy and yearned for their father's attention, when it was directed to the favorite son, Dustpaw. When they became warriors, known as Sedgestorm, Lightningtail, Dustcloud, and Heatherfall, the siblings were torn further by rivalry. Dustcloud didn't want their father's attention, Lightningtail wanted to be deputy to get their father's attention, Sedgestorm was often forgotten in the background except for when he got into trouble, and Heatherfall was often ignored in favor of the other sons and was often sneaking off to meet a tom that she had been crushing on since apprenticeship, even though she never once explained who it was. Only two moons after their warrior ceremony, Heatherfall approaches Sedgestorm at night and makes him promise not to tell their parents where she was going; she was running away with her crush because it would have been frowned upon in the Clans. She disappears and only the next day did Sedgestorm realize who it was that she had fallen for - Dustcloud, who had left with her. Sedgestorm had been uneasy since then and became louder and yelled more, which caused his relationship with Lightningtail to strain until Sedgestorm finally snapped and confessed that Dustcloud had left with Heatherfall. Owlwhisper grieved and seemed to realize the implication and sobbed about how she didn't realize it sooner, Fiercebounce was furious with Sedgestorm for let his prodigy leave and Lightningtail screamed at him for letting his other siblings go. Sedgestorm's relationship with his family has since been strained and he refers to them as dead to him, with the exception of Heatherfall and Dustcloud, who he explained ran off to find happiness. Now, if only he could say the same for himself.
