Wow, the level of detail in this watercolour is simply astounding! You have such control with this medium it beggars belief at times. The colouring and shading is beautifully done as always, and the background seems to push the figure forward somehow, as if emerging from a plume of smoke... fantastic work!

I do like the style of the background for a change, although I'm not so sure it was the right one for this particular painting. I'll have to try the same technique again for some other work. ^^

Haha, a different creature indeed! I'm not sure what kind though.. one with muscles on the outside, and tubes and circuits sticking out everywhere. *lol*
I had a certain source of inspiration , but I don't think I'll be painting anything similar again for a while. Onto something new and fresh!
