Wow.
You did a great job. I'm sculpting Miniatures for tabletop. So i want to ask: how big is this diorama anyway. And what material do you use for.
It's a extreme dynamic scene even Trixie looks in that pose more human than a pony.
I was searching thrugh your gallery but i didn't find a photo with Trixie's frontside. Which necklace does she wear?

Thank you so much! This is definitely not tabletop miniatures size! Though I have given thought to sculpting some that tiny for my D&D night. Your work is amazing! I love the detail in such a small scale. The Watchpony is my favorite, I think. Magic Duel is approximately 12" long reaching about 8.5" tall at it's highest point. I did take a bit of a free hand with anatomy, but to be fair, so has Hasbro. n_n I tried to get every angle, but alas! I did miss Trixie's necklace! It is not the alicorn amulet, but her regular blue gem cloak clasp. I started this project to keep me busy over the summer, long before even the episode title was released.

Another one spending summer vacation with sculpting and painting.
The reason vor my late answer is her. [link]
I was on her before the magic duell was realised too. And even if the episode was out, her amulet was out of the question. Gem and coat suits her great.
You sad you make this free hand. Do you mean without tools?

Thanks! It's really hard to get a feel for the whole piece with just one pic, you know?

This is quite honestly one of the coolest sculptures I've stumbled upon on deviantart! The dynamic poses are so well done; Twilight's mid-air pose must have been difficult to create and it came out awesome! And the details (especially Twilight's "wings") are intricate and beautiful! I absolutely love this!! <333 *watches*

n_n Thank you so much! I'm very happy to have been stumbled upon for this piece. It's silly, but the entire thing grew out of wondering if I could get that pose from Twilight.

Now that looks creepy... But I like it. 8) Terrific job. ..... Just thought about it... I learned how to spell 'terrific' from Charlot's Web... huh.
