i personally think the DOF could be a bit deeper. i am all for blurring out the tree, but i would actually like to see a bit more of the fence. idk i think its kinda short enough to seem overly blunt

I love the close focus. It's very gray, but that kind of adds to the mood. (I just personally prefer higher contrast B&W, but the washed out look works for this piece)

thanks. Yeah it was a foggy day and i liked the effect so i tried not to lose that low contrast look when i did my touch ups.

I love how the picture's centered on the fence! It's creepy. Very nice... Psh, i wish there were cool sites like that around here to take pictures of.

This is a great angle - but maybe if you had the focus more on the tree than the fence it would make more of an impact on the picture? Well its a very nice photo none-the-less, don't take my word for anything I'm no where near to being an expert. Okay bye!

I like the composition with the fence in foreground but for me the framing is a bit strange ...you cut the tree, there's too much empty space at the top (the sky)
But I like all the atmosphere in this B/W picture !
