Yes, the color scheme is actually straightly influenced by Erbsenmuster. I got to compare it's performance to Flecktarn in some airsoft games and i think it works far better in almost all terrains you can find around here, even if it's over 70 years old.

I made that constatation a long time ago, along the principle of dynamic ambush patterns I learned from my mentor. Although some SS patterns still beat most modern patterns today, people still ignore them for their creators. Things did change lately though; the german army has revised flectarn in a more SS way (multitarn), especially the colours. There's also a brand new Polish pattern called MAPPA building on the fundamentals of eichenlaubmuster. I guess I'll have a complete set bought as soon as they hit the market. They told me it would be this month. Btw, have you seen brent's YT-video on these pattern. I'm glad someone ,except for us and the russians, dares objectively state the strengths of these patterns.

Wow, that's a real giant in the woods here, but the pattern works very well!

Not yet, it looks too dark from the distance and green areas are a bit too large. I'm trying to make it work better in more open and scarcely vegetated areas like bogs, dry pine forests and open logging sites, in thick forest the terrain itself covers you well enough as long as you have some sort of camo that breaks your stature and isn't pink.
