Description
Getting two young geckos (or any age for that matter) to stay like this long enough to snap a shot IS HARD! You would think they had ants crawling up their pants, they just won't sit still. X_X But finally they sat still longer than 2 seconds and I got this.1 day old leopard gecko with a 1-2 weeks old gecko. Siblings.

You did a marvelous job getting this photo. I sympathize; getting baby geckos to hold still is sooo frustrating! But you completed the task admirably, and gave us this incredible perfect, cute photo.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, photographing reptiles in general can be hard, they seem to never really stand still if they feel out of place. And solid white or black backgrounds is apparently very "out of place" to them.
It's been some years since this photo was taken, but I'm pretty sure it took well over 15-20-30 minutes to get a few good shots out of hundreds... Patience and dedication is the key!

My favored technique is to stick them in a shallow, green bucket that I have. The walls keep them from climbing out, so I just chase them in a tiny circle with the camera until I get a good photo. Thankfully, my herps have learned that the quicker they cooperate, the quicker I leave them alone. My one corn snake is quite photogenic, though.
I agree with how long it can take; it definitely takes a lot of patience!

Leopards are probably the cutest and easiet to keep among geckos1 the two girls I have (normal and an albino morph) are only 8 months and have come a long way of bein great pets. I do plan to get another female, and soon as they reach a good age, i'll most likely breed my girls to a bredder I met at the petstore where im from.^^ I'd love to get some more albino leucistics.

Maybe? I suppose there are several easy kept geckos out there.
Congrats on your geckos, they do indeed make great pets.

Yeah, i would've gone w/ African fat-tails, but i figured Leopards would be easier.
And thanks.^^

Nice pic. They're really cute. I am amazed that you got them to sit still that long. When mine where that are it was nearly imposable.

Thanks!
I guess they were too scared of me to really run away, poor babies.
