We stopped eating in front of the tv many years ago (family decision ) because breakfasts and dinners must be special for the family. I love to sit and talk in the warm atmosphere of the table. 
I suppose the Turkish Breakfast is number one in the world, although it is known less than English Breakfast, for example. We have an amazing variety. We call it Serpme Breakfast -->  www.google.com/search?q=serpme…

part of the richness is inherited in Israel where most of the restaurants having an "oriental touch" serve a lot of small plates with all kinds of delicious things and you get a refill on request ...
Maybe, we could split such an experience in Istanbul as we have not (yet) given in the wish to visit ... just looking for a better moment that we hope will arrive
