This remind sme of an episode of Mythbusters I saw where they blew something up and in slow-motion you could actually see a glassy sphere of distortion in the air, radiating out from the blast zone

i wish Vue had particle physics simulation like others 3d software, or plugin like fumeFX or glu3d.
