"I hadn't ever meant for it to happen - me having a forbidden relationship with Duskcloud. I wouldn't even call it a relationship really. More like a fling we hoped would blossom into more. But then one day she told me she was in love with someone else. Someone in her Clan, named Firetalon. It made me so angry. I thought I might hate her, but I never could. I could hate Firetalon though. Duskcloud fell pregnant with Brackenleap, and it was only at his first gathering as a 'paw' that I realized he was my son. He had the lean look of a WindClan cat, not the muscular body of Firetalon or the soft body of Dyskcloud, and I wondered how no one realized his half Clan lineage. I would like to know him more, but he is wary of me. Overall, I can tell that whatever I lost with Duskcloud has changed my personality indefinitely."
