I liked the Little Mermaid when it came out, until I over-thought it...she's freakin' 16...and Disney is marrying her off. That's statutory in most of the country! You did a great job of making her look more mature...and consequently, legal. NOW she can go after Prince Eric!

People lived shorter lives in medieval times due to lack of modern medicines as well as the lack of knowledge about health in general. For example, it was once thought that soap and water (washing/bathing) would kill a sick person. Today, we know it does just the opposite, it helps a person get better by getting rid of any germs that may have accumulated on the skin.
Because people lived shorter lives, they got married and had kids at younger ages than we do to day. If they didn't they risked their family line dying out.

Yeah...I get that. And the concepts we have about childhood are relatively recent, historically speaking. Still...the idea of Disney celebrating running away from home at 16 and eloping. Just screams family values!

It's Ariel alright, but i like a little different approach of it. I don't know how to describe it, feels more calm, beautiful. Oh and the surroundings are awesome, especially little water creatures

With the way those shells are clasped, her boobs should not be pressed so much. They should be hanging much more naturally. There also appears to be little holding them on in the first place unless she's applied an adhesive.

Probably because she's under water... breasts tend to float "up" as they are not being inhibited by open air gravity. Ive swam enough times to know this, lol.

I know they float a bit in water, they are lumps of fat. 
Here, though, they're less floating up and more being pushed together towards the sternum by a force that couldn't really be applied by the amount of bracing from the shell bra. It looks kind of out of place.
