Wow! Love the face. Platform shoes...nice. It's sad she had to die, it would have been cool to see Spidey and her bickering together. The new Jackpot or should I say, old Jackpot is okay, this one was more fun.

So, I'm thinking this is either a resulted of Pete's radio active love juice or she was exposed to what ever the 616 version of the Ox is called.

I just look up the new spider man and I can only hope the line from the end of OMD is true. there should be nothing that can keep peter and MJ apart and it would be nice that she could help him out with time around.

Well drawn picture... and this is likely the only way I'll ever see MJ dressed up like that since I refuse to read Spider-Man after the reaming that Quesada has given it. I hope to God that OMD gets retconned out of existence soon...

That is absolutely amazing! Jackpot's costume in her Free Comic Book Day appearance didn't look too hot, but you made it super-sexy! I hope that Marvel's artists take note of this pic.

There are jokes there about coin slots and arm pulling, but I won't go there.
Nice work!

That would actually be pretty bad ass if it actually were MJ. I was kind of getting tired of how whimpy she always turned out to be. If not Aunt May she was always the target. It was getting old.

Whether or not this is MJ, I hope the marriage isn't undone. I like the marriage.

I'm afriad Straczynski is either a Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy fan. I've been reading the One More Day saga, and after reading Sensational Spider-Man 41, I'm pretty sure Straczynski will throw away one of Marvel's classic couples (although the Peter/Gwen pairing is also up there) to bring change. The issue ends with Mephisto (the demon who offers to make deals with everybody, but tricks everybody he makes deals with) saying that he will save Aunt May from dying from a sniper's bullet in exchange for their marriage. Pete initially wanted to reject Mephisto outright, but MJ was willing to listen to the demon's terms. Which means, Peter Parker is going to throw away his marriage to one of the hottest women in Marvel Comics to save an eighty year old woman, who Mephisto, if he lives up to his legacy, will have her have a heart attack and die suddenly after she is saved from the sniper's bullet wound. This makes Straczynski Spider-Man's most dangerous foe since Norman Osborn. Now while he did lose Gwen earlier, he didn't chose to lose Gwen. She was murdered by the Goblin. What's making me mad about this is that he is giving up MJ save his Aunt.
They need to fire Straczynski and hire a writer with common sense.
The artwork itself however, is very good.

JMS has common sense, as anyone who's seen his work on other projects can tell you. 'Babylon 5' made perfect sense to a lot of people, and that was his baby. He's just being railroaded by Joe Q's editorial mandates.
Straczynski's gone on record saying that he isn't happy with the way 'One More Day' is going; what's happening with the marriage isn't his decision, it's editorial. Besides, he's leaving after 'One More Day' finishes anyway, and not because 'the fans' demanded he leave, but because he chose to do so (though I suspect OMD is a part of it).
Plus, the marriage hasn't ended yet. There's still one more installment left to go. I'm not optimistic, but there's still a small sliver of hope.

If it's John Q that mandating, they need to fire him. I've actually liked a lot of what JMS has done, but the One More Day storyline is going to remove one of the things that I hold sacred in comics and that is you don't end marriages that have lasted for decades. I mean, they've already broken up Cyclops and Jean Grey, now they're going after Pete and MJ, what next? Mr. and Mrs. Fantastic? I hope I'm wrong and the marriage is saved, but I have a bad habit about being a pesimist about these sorts of things.

You do realize OMD is one of those things they do to move the characters back to status quo, right? Trust something will come along and cancel it out for the same reason.

How was OMD restoring the "status quo"? It turned one of Marvel's smartest heros into a rash fool who acts without much thought. It destroyed years continuality, which now needs to be rexplained, and since JMS quit writting Spider-Man, they've lost the one writer who could bring them back together in an intelligent manner. I do not currently trust the BND writers, as none of them have bothered to tackle an emotional issue, and I read in the letters page at the end of one of the BND in which the editors responded to a letter saying that they would not bring Pete and MJ back together. Which means all Spidey fans must wait for Quesada to retire.
