Description
My favourite characters of "Cats" musical - Mr. Mistoffelees and Rum Tum Tugger. They are good friends. At very least
Misto is in transition form - legs, tail-point and hand are still white but they have started to sparkle already.
I'm too busy right now to draw pictures for myself on computer from scratch so I draw them by markers and only adjust them on computer.

I see it as Misto having a big-brother admiration and Tugger realizing this, so he encourages Mistoβs talents, basically making him squee. Just as adorable as a romantic ship to me. :3

oh by the way if your going to lay down facts like you wrote the Musical you should know Mistoffelees and tugger do have their own personal relationship seeing as they both have principal parts in each others acts.
and by the way one more thing. i performed the role of plato 3 years straight with broadway across america. and funny fact is he is Victorias mate,not mistoffelees. hince the pas de deux(mating dance) in the middle of Ball.

I second FantasiaKitty. If you're GOING to like this musical, you HAVE TO STOP BEING SO BIASED! Not EVERYONE'S going to LOVE MistoXVicky, not EVERYONE likes what you like, and we APPRECIATE that! But Don't go bashing on OTHERS beautiful artwork!
CATS is all about how the PEOPLE see it and we can make of it what we WANT it to be. But be open to other peoples opinions...I like MistoXicky, but I LOVE MistoXTugger!
I'm getting really tired of seeing homophobes DELIBERATELY looking at SLASH pictures and then typing out things that are petty and have absolutely no worth. Yeah? What proof do you have? Part of the beauty of CATS is that nothing is set in stone as far as how the characters are related. I'm not denying that Misto and Victoria are in love, but they have practically no interactions in the show to confirm this. Misto and Tugger, on the other hand, do. According to Wikipedia, the two are supposed to be portrayed as having a 'love-hate' kind of relationship. According to some sources, the two of them actually kiss in some versions of the show. And as for them not being gay? Well, that's up for interpretation just as much as any other aspect of the show, but let's take into consideration the fact that John Partridge and Jacob Brent (Tugger and Misto in the film version of the show) are both gay in real life. I'm not saying that this necessarily impacts the characters themselves, but it certainly puts a new spin on things. Besides, have you ever seen the clip from the 2008 national tour where Misto and Munkustrap kiss during Growltiger's Last Stand? Or from the 2010 Manila production where Misto rubs up on Tugger when he sings his "terrible bore" line? Or just the Korean production in general during Misto's number? I could go on . . . but the point is, there is no shortage of evidence in productions all around the world to suggest that Misto and Tugger share a not-quite-heterosexual relationship. To say that they're not gay or in love is quite a stretch.

Right. Let's study the 'evidence', shall we?
Misto/Vicky: they do the Invitation together. They sit next to each other during Gus the Theatre Cat. He makes her appear and then smiles at her during his dance number. They stand next to each other and look at each other once during Grizabella's ascension.
Misto/Tugger: they stand next to each other in the 'pyramid' during Jellicle Songs. Misto sings a line in Tugger's song describing him as a 'terrible bore'. If he truly thought this about him, though, don't you think it would've been a bit more obvious? We all know the death glare he gives Grizabella as she exits the stage the first time, so if he was really all that disgusted about Tugger, wouldn't he have done the same? No, instead, his tone is almost sarcastic and he simply rolls his eyes as he leaves -- almost in an affectionately teasing manner. Seems more like flirting to me, don't you think? And Tugger certainly doesn't seem to take any offense to the line, either. Then, of course, there's that split-moment encounter during the Song of the Jellicles. Moving on to the second act -- Misto's number. In other words, the only song that Tugger actually sings other than his own. If Munkustrap is the narrator, why doesn't HE sing about Misto? The fact that Tugger, who we hardly actually SEE in the show other than in a few important songs, is taking Misto's entire number as a solo suggests that there's something deeper going on between them. From the introduction to the song, it becomes clear that Tugger obviously has quite a high opinion of Misto and the things that he can do. The way that he sings the entire first verse is quite flirtatious, and even the slightest bit sexual. All the way up until Misto's solo dance, Tugger keeps following him around the stage and mimicking his moves almost playfully. He seems quite enthusiastic about Misto's tricks, and encourages him when he can't get his lightning to work. He watches intently during the entire solo dance, and whole-heartedly urges him on during the bit where Old Deuteronomy is brought back. And after the old guy is back, simply the tone of Tugger's voice while he sings the chorus says more than words ever could (granted, this one can be a bit more obvious depending on the production -- I've heard some versions where Tugger sounds undeniably infatuated). Same goes for those long notes he holds out toward the end of the song. And be sure you take a look at some of the faces Tugger makes throughout the entire duration of the song! And then finally, at the end, he concludes with "I give you the magical, marvelous, Mister Mistoffelees!", while Misto sort of plays along with him as he sets the stage for Misto jumping off the tire. Tell me, what other character gets such an affectionate grand finale like that? The song almost always gets one of the longest applauses out of the entire show. I should know -- I've seen it live twice.
If this is truly the Misto, Victoria, and Tugger you're talking about, I believe you've talked yourself into a corner.

*shrugs* I hug my guyfriends all the time, when I'm sad, they cuddle me like a big brother, we dance together in theater all the time, one of my guy friends danced with me at homecoming just for the fun of it, and Misto makign Vicky appaer and smile isnt FLIRTATIOUS or loving, its just fun....brothers do things like that all the time.

Misto is actually called Mr. Mistoffolees! So Its a DUDE! They are not gay! Rum Tum Tugger is with Bombalurina and Mr. Mistofolees is with Victoria. I have seen this musical for years and I know pretty much EVERYTHING about it. So if you have any questions you can ask me.
