Here's my submission for the Rick and Morty contest!
Even if I don't place, I'm really glad I ended up doing this! I don't normally draw huge pieces like this one so it's good practice
As you can see, there's a bit of a story to this picture.
Basically, an alien species has attempted to harness Rick's DNA in order to create an equally genius counterpart that works for them, but they were never able to actually get it because Rick is too clever. They decide to use his direct family (bloodline) in order to get the best results. So, now Rick is stuck with Jerry (who stupidly decided to tag along because y'know he's Jerry) and they sneak onto the ship through the vents. In an attempt to shut down the devices, Rick starts pulling the wires from the computer, but it leads to no avail. Jerry starts freaking out and takes the portal gun in an act of panic and rage and as Rick is about to get it back, the creatures responsible for the whole kerfuffle appear and catch them.
