Description
FULL VIEW PLEASE.The picture's MUCH crisper when viewed that way. (:
---
Taken in the statue/flower garden of Assiniboine Park.
This is pretty much what's in one of the little ponds at the park. The whole structure is part of a fountain, I believe, that surrounds a statue.

Great example that even "waste" can make for great photos. I love the composition and the colors, perhaps the latter could have been boosted a little, but on the other hand it might make the result look too artificial. The only thing that bothers me is the hot spot on the water, but there isn't much that could be done about it any more.

Yeah, I was worried that boosting the colour would make it look entirely too fake and off, so I let that one go. Haha. I agree with you though, I wish the colours were more vivid.
I know what you mean about the hot spot. ): I try to ignore it, haha.
Thanks for the comment though!

The water looks muggy, but soothing. I like it.

Yeeaaah it wasn't the cleanest of waters. ^_^; Mind you, the rocks could give it that effect too.
Either way, thanks. :3

The stones beneath the water are what strikes me the most.....the aged look and the rawness of the fountain
To me it is somewhat a representation of the industrial world we live in with it's hands all over the natural existance
Everywhere in every way and reaching out futher yet mother earth survives....the reflection of the tree in the water could offer a great deal of signifigance
Lovely picture
