Looking Back on Rippers first Gloom Beach picture makes me cringe.I just got into the fandom, I did not quite have a grasp of how the MH style worked. and while the old one was more "fun" this one is more accurate I think.

This looks awesome! I love these Monster High dolls. I saw them at a shop a few weeks ago and I really wanted one. So when I got some money I went and bought one on Saturday. I bought Cleo De Nile from the Gloom Beach set. ^^

I didn't even know about the series until I bought the doll. I actually first saw an ad for the dolls on t.v during Pokemon and I thought they looked awesome, but I never dreamt that I would actually see them in the shops in my town.

I think it makes a lot of sense, what with the hourglasses being used for the grim reaper for ages, it makes sense he'd use clocks too (cuts down on the cost of sand)

I love the designs Rippe wears, the clock earrings, the skeleton patterns... and of course the color yellow!
She may be less dynamic, but a lot cuter! Especially with the toe position!

I really love this a lot! I see an improvement in her anatomy, facial details, and I love her pose a lot here; it's so relaxed. I also love the highlights and how you coloured and detailed her hair.

Well, while I still like Ripper's first beach pic a lot, I can see, obviously, the style differences between the two, and why you might have wanted to redo it. Of course, I'm still not very familiar with MH style outside of your art, but I can see, in her pose and even face shape/expression, how this seems to fit in with the show's style.
Love her little toes in this one (okay fishie you weirdo)! And I said this on the last one, but I still love her outfit. Also, the shape of her legs.

Ripper's expression manages in this picture to be one of the sweetest and most sincere I've seen on her. It's an expression that makes her look adorable and totally makes you not mind that the yellow eyeshadow doesn't really match anything. That and her hair just looks really good in this picture for some reason. It's an improvement from the last one. The more you draw teh more you improve.
