Updated: New Artwork, Character design updates and a new outfit!I want to say "new character alert" but in good conscious I can't call her "new" since I've had this character for over 14 years...CONFUSED!?

I just could not leave her on the cutting room floor, especially now she has a purpose! To cause Ripper grief ! So I breathed new life into her! 14 years is a long time, especially considering a good portion of people who are into Monster High haven’t even been alive for 14 years :*( BUT on an up note I am very pleased with how this image came out- THIS is the closest I feel I have gotten to Monster High style accuracy so far. My only issue with it now is the calves need to be shorter and feet need to be bigger.
As for Karen herself she was in need of a bit of an update. See when I first made her I suffered from something called Special Snowflake Syndrome and I apparently thought that “popular” girls went to school every day dressed up in club kid mini skirts.
Karen as a character has always been the popular/trendy girl and since what is popular now is vastly different than when I first made her. I had to change her...but how?...I tried to put myself back in high school, what’s popular now and what would be my worst enemy if I was 16? The answer was almost too obvious. And just like that, Karen became a scene kid. She has gotten the biggest overhaul I’ve even given an “old” character. But it was necessary to keep her relevant. Scene just fits her attitude of unwarranted self importance and drama queen so well, her hair was a pain in the ass to draw though, I don’t understand scene hair it’s like a dandelion puff with tentacles hanging from it
. Since she’s not socially awkward like Ripper or socially retarded like Ox she actually has lots of friends. BUT in the mean time until she gets some who have names. I just stuck some background characters from the MH web series into her friends list to express that she’s a social butterfly, they consist mostly of boys & other Cyclopes, who’s surprised?Who knows…maybe Karen won’t be the only one I bring back from the dead. I might bring back some of her flock of bitches as well…or maybe I’ll see if any of other of my MH peeps have any bitches who want to be in her flock. Every popular girl needs a flock- it’s a rule.

I just don't understand why you made someone so mean! That's all what i wanted to know, and i didn't see the point why to have such a discussion, because it will end in a fight, that's clear. My only question was just, why would someone do such a mean Character like Karen? I thought i would have an answer...And besides: When i do for Example an new OC, it's just logic, that i make her nice and kind, not mean. That's what i don't understand.

No, this is calling have a discussion, a chat, a debate...it would only end in a fight if one of us degenerated into petty, childish name calling like-- oh- Implying someone else is immature. but neither of us would ever do that now would we?
And to answer your question....why make an OC mean- well...my dear that is just part of good story telling. All stories NEED bad guys they NEED someone to cause conflict, that's what mores stories along is that fact that not everyone acts like the same sweet caring person we wish all people are. I have many MH OC's they aren't ALL mean.
and not only is it good story telling...it's real life...some people are nice, some are not so nice some people are right in the middle.
if you make every single character exactly the same you're going to wind up with a really boring cast.
Making characters multidimensional is what good character design is all ABOUT. If you give a character one personality trait she becomes boring and untreatable. it's okay to have characters start out that way but they should grow into something more.
and like Karen whom you seem to have written off as being mean and nothing else, Has a pretty rich life you can see on her tumblr where yes, she does mean things. but she also has a network of friends whom she cares very much for and they accepted her for who she is, being mean and all- resulting in her not being mean to them. yea she has people who don't like her and enemies but who doesn't? you can't make friends with everyone. she's not mean just for the sake of being mean, she is driven and goal oriented and she sees what she wants and she will go for it regardless of who is in her way. those are her motives and it is up to the reaper to take from that what they will.

Fact of the matter is... "mean people" get things DONE.
Why would anyone bother to get their work done if someone wasn't yelling at them to do so? Who would run our Police departments? Nice people wouldn't want to carry a gun and enforce law. In corporate America the people who manufacture our clothing, electronics,our toys, our MH dolls... do you think their nice? conning poor third world nations with no job regulation into making our goods that are super cheap so they can make a bundle of money on it, do you think their "nice"
Mean people make the world go round.
There is no point to being mean you're right... but there is no "point" to being nice either. what's the point of being nice? you make someone elses life a little easier? why should you? your under no oblation to do anything for anyone.
You keep saying "yes I know we can't all be nice and perfect" and if you know that- I don't see WHY you're still asking. mean people serve a purpose. just as Villains serve a purpose.

it is harsh. but that's life. some people are nasty just for the sheer joy of it..some people just want to watch the world burn, it's what they find fun.
don't try to understand it, it will only give you a headache. just know that some people are just mean. you can either learn how to look past their flaws to find the beauty that's underneath or just steer clear of them entirely.
there is truth to the saying birds of a feather flock together. I know lots of people who are find with being friends with mean people- just as long as they aren't mean to THEM they don't care.

well bullys are one thing, they go out of their way to hurt people.
People who are mean- just don't see the point in being nice to people. that's just who they are.

Because it's not easy for everyone to talk about, some people have unresolved issues. human beings are complex creatures. lots of people don't like to talk about their issues because they feel it's no one else business. and it's not.
the absence of kindness/politeless does not make someone a mean person. it means them an indifferent person.
the world is not black and white.
and I told you before, some people find being mean fun, some people don't like to be nice, some people want to appear tough, maybe they were never taught how to be nice and meanness is all they know, maybe they were abused, maybe they have a drug problem, maybe someone close to them just died, maybe they were horribly victimized recently, maybe they are struggling with something deep and personal that they don't know how to cope with and they don't have any time for your patience, maybe they get beaten up every day and take it out on others.
there are literally hundreds of different reasons why people do what they do. if I had a week I could not explain the complex facets of the human psyche in a few comments on DA.
