My Entry for DearyEm 's couples contest !Ox and his friend Bonnie on a date! Bonnie like Oxford is a toxic creature, she is immune to many of the things about Ox that can cause physical harm. In her Ox has found a kindred spirit. someone who he can relate too who has a healthy appreciation for his world. Ox lives on a toxic waste site, radioactive community pools, polluted air, debris, etc. All the things that his friends should be exposed to in small doses wouldn't bother her so naturally he bought her home to watch fire works? the stars? poisonous smog gas? chemical spill? burning tire pile? the only limit if your imagination.
But I had a lot of fun with this, tho my opinion is bias...I love them together! their great friends and like most of Ox's lady friends he flirts with her perpetually and Bonnie likes him enough to indulge his flirtatious ways and throw him a date or return his advances every so often.
about the art?... I wanted to shoot myself several times throughout the process, but I'm confident that means that I was doing something right. You can see me whining about the progress of this on my instagram. and you can see the work is progress of this on my art tumblr.
