Schools out outfit for Gail !Tried a few new things with this and brought back some old things. What was supposed to be a doodle just to get the outfit down wound up turning out better than I expected, so I finished it.
the pose is kind of wonky but I can't say it's an angle I draw all that frequently and doing so with a character that has a tail took a lot of trial and error but I found a happy middle ground thanks to the help of this tutorial .
And her hair was inspired by an image by ~The-Nocturnal-Moth and her outfit was a happy accident of me trying to combine plaid and pants without literally putting Gail in plaid pants ( No...Just No)
Anyways I hope you guys like it! You can find the texture I used here and from this point on I'll be doing my MH OC's in my own style. Gail wasn't really much of a stretch so she's a good place to start the conversion.

I don't see how a comparison to a doll line that came out a year after this was posted counts as a compliment on the art work. but Okay.
I like Mae Tallick to. but every char with long pig tails isn't like her.
You don't have to remove it, its just your opinion but if you have a real problem with it I would take it up with Mattel.

i know if i say something to Mattel about it that they'd deny every word i say, like, YOU STOLE ABBY SNOMEN FOR ABBEY BOMINABLE YOU STOLE THIS YOU STOLE THAT they'd say "Sorry, but we had those characters in production long before these characters came along."
Theyd just be to embarrassed and scared to tell the truth.
And i know, i was just saying that in this pic she reminds me of Mae tallick :3

I like seeing her in your style~! I didn't think it'd be too different from the other images you've done of her, but I was wrong! She's very fantastic and 'weighty' in your own style (the MH style always looked a bit flat to me) and it'll be interesting to see your other MH FC's in your style (the ones you haven't drawn that way already). Can't wait~!
THOSE PANTS. Well actually THOSE SHOES. *steals* Those shoes are fantastic. I've always loved shoes in that style, and they looks great as heels! The pants are a happy medium with the plaid. It's rather adorable and I think suits her quite well.

the fact that you love Gail makes me SO THRILLED You've always been supportive of my chubbsy wubbsy characters and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I really love that you like how this came out I have to admit I am quite pleased with it myself!
I know what you mean and about the weighty things, it really sucks having to make up shit for a style becuase they have NO plus size characters to relate too...talk about limiting my options.
