Description
The expanded Mutations sheet is finally here! Sorry this took me so long, life's been...hectic This covers extra Mutations that were not covered in the initial trait sheets; these are all Mutation rarity regardless of class! (please note that Draconian is ONLY available for Drones)
Text from sheet: Hairless
This mutation causes an Omniopteryx to lose all their fur, or be born without fur. Omniopteryx with this condition are more susceptible to cold, and must stay in very warm climates, in the hive, or keep close to other Omniopteryx for warmth.
*This Mutation automatically removes all fur traits.
*This mutation cannot be present at the same time as Overgrown.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eyes on Body
This mutation causes Omniopteryx to grow or be born with eyes located on their body. Eyes can be located on any part of the body, and the number of eyes that appear is greatly varied.
*Eyes cannot replace body parts or take up more than ~20% of the body.
*All eyes on the body MUST match the eyes on the head
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Belly Mouth
This mutation causes a large, functioning mouth to appear on an Omniopteryx's stomach. This mouth cannot speak or produce sounds, as they lack vocal chords, but they can bite and consume food. Omniopteryx with this mutation are often hungrier far more often than normal, and consume larger quantities of food at a time.
*This mouth must match the Omniopteryx's normal mouth in appearance (however if the normal mouth does not have teeth, the belly mouth can still have teeth)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overgrown
This mutation causes the fur on an Omniopteryx to grow in excessive amounts, that are far greater than normal. Omniopteryx with this mutation usually have trouble seeing, running, and with overheating. As a result, they must stay in cold climates, or in the hive, where temperature can be regulated. The fur can be trimmed regularly to avoid this, but most find it difficult to keep up with the rate at which the fur grows, and often choose to leave it be and adapt.
*Even with this mutation, the fur cannot continuously grow forever; pictured is the maximum length at which the fur can grow (although longer hair on the head is also possible, and is usually tied back or braided)
*This mutation can be combined with other fur traits, such as wool or feathers.
*This mutation cannot be present at the same time as Hairless.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Multi-limb
This mutation causes extras of certain body parts to sprout from an Omniopteryx's body. These mutations are often the result of exposure to powerful radiation. Body parts that can be duplicated are heads, arms, and tails. The limbs are fully functioning, and these Omniopteryx are just as capable of functioning as any other. Omniopteryx with multiple heads have separate brains, and the heads can have different personalities and feelings.
*Any other body parts not mentioned here cannot be multiplied. Max allowed with 1 Mutation trait is 1 extra pair of arms, 1 extra tail, or 1-2 extra heads. This mutation can be stacked.
*Heads do not have to be identical in appearance; one head can have rarer traits than the other, provided you have those traits available to use on your Omniopteryx.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Draconian
This is an odd mutation that exclusively affects Drones. All Drones carry a dormant gene for this mutation in their DNA, and it can be activated by a number of events. Some Drones are also born with the mutation active. This mutation causes a Drone to grow dragon-like wings, a spaded tail, and breathe fire (or other elements). Drones with this mutation often have a more fiery, aggressive temperament, and can be far more dangerous than regular Drones. Despite this, a loyal Draconian Drone can be an invaluable asset to any hive.
*Breath can be any 1 element. Tail tip can be any shape.
