I can't believe how many people had a rant over this piece. I personally think it's brilliant. Well thought out, planned and executed to perfection. I only wish I had half the digital skills this artist has.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that middle america doesn't 'get it'. Shouldn't expect them to have to use their brains for art.

haha. yer he is definatly the best digital artist we've ever worked with. i guess everyone has there own opinion and i probably should have explained the concept at the beginning. but alas, i didnt expect a DD and im too lazy to do it now. lol

I know lots of people have complained about the nipple looking fake, or it looking tacky, but i think thats the way it is meant to be, designed to look like a childs doll, which IS made of plastic, and IS fake.

The arm is not connected to the body. On the left side, of the picture, you should be able to see a bit of her shoulder if she were real. It looks a bit funny if you analyze it.

What strikes me most is if you look at her mouth it looks like you made it to look like those "drinking" baby dolls. Past her lips there's a hole instead of a mouth or throat. So many ways to interpret that :b

You did a magnificant job on the hair and I can see that being worthy of a daily deviation, but the model's breast looks like it's fake (especially the nipple), and the fake milk globs + baby bottle make the rest of the picture look dumb... You did your job magnificantly in every picture I've seen, but I'm not sure about everyone else's work : (

Strangely enough, my favorite part is the jewelry around her neck. I think it's absolutely fabulous, and gives the piece itself a different air of femininity than, say, the perfect nipple. xD Even though the nipple is perfect. o.o

Normally if there is an image I have negative feedback to give on, i just keep it to myself. In this case, however, I looked at your gallery and you have SO MANY really cool works that I love, that I felt it might be OK as im not just slamming you down. I really dont get why you like this image, frankly i dont like the concept or execution, but prefer the rest of your gallery.
I guess the reason Im saying this is that I wanted to give a counter position to all the positive comments left and see if I could encourage you to stay along the path of your other work, which really is outstanding and growing nicely, instead of pursuing this route. To each his own, and you need to follow your own route, but just keep in mind there is another POV than the yes men.

I agree. The rest of the gallery seems to have much more depth. I am not saying this image is bad or doesn't look like it hasn't had care and work put into it, but comparitively to the remainder of the gallery seems very commercial and plastic. (Then again that brings in that whole arguement of where is line between artsy-fatsy art and commercial art and is there a difference.) It is a piece set apart from the rest of your gallery because its lighter in both color and mood. The hair configuration is fantastic either way. It feels like you did it just for shock value, but I find the other images in your gallery more compelling.

Point taken. It is always good to branch out and challenge ones self and try new things. It also is a question of intent and purpose. Personally I think that the other work in the gallery is stronger and this more commercial. Its more of an observation and as a viewer what I see when I get out of this piece. As for a gallery of the same work it depends on what you want your gallery of DA to be a portfolio showing your range or a gallery of cohesive works.
