Every rebel is taught basic first aid to assist others on the battlefield, but it never hurts to brush up on the fundamentals ... especially when your self-proclaimed bodyguard routinely puts himself in harm’s way. For your sake, of course.
Something from my roleplay blog! I’ve been meaning to draw these two for months now, but I’m infamously terrible with coming up with ideas / prompts. I finally managed to spin a warm-up doodle into a cohesive piece, yay! I’ve been super inspired by C-H-I-Z-U and I's threads lately.
This takes place some time after the hunter ambush that left Gordon’s dominant shoulder seriously injured. He’s healing well enough, and he and Jesse have gotten uncannily good at adapting their communication to rely less on signs incorporating both arms. As mortifying as their brush with danger was, it’s allowed them to get to know each other better and maybe even grow a little closer … even to the point where Gordon refuses medical attention from anyone that isn’t Jesse. Peculiar, really — considering that the clumsy medic still gets his fingers accidentally knotted in the bandages sometimes.
