Description
Lady Astrid is a Swashbuckling noblewoman adventurer.from the D&D Next (5e) Playtest. Astrid is a level 14 Human Fighter with the Swashbuckler build and Noble background. her final ability score is STR12, DEX20, CON16, INT11, WIS11, CHA14.
I rolled on her looks and got a female green eyed ginger, spiffy. As a fellow ginger I approve of my dice.
She favors the rapier and uses a dagger in her off hand for defensive work, she also possess a light crossbow. Her armor is a Leather Armor, since in 5e a Dex PC should never use medium armor since it has a maximum cap to the Dex mod bonus (+2 only). As an noble, Astrid also have an riding horse named Little Bill and three servants: Thomas, William and her maid Sophie.
Astrid travels with a band of adventurers, the majority is the same as the Isle of Dread and Mystery 5e line-up [link] The Dwarf Fighter is replaced with a Human Wizard, the Sorcerer is replaced by a Monk and I now play Astrid instead of the Elf Wizard.
Astrid comes from a rather wealthy noble family, but isn't entitled too much not being the eldest nor male. So she seek her fortune as an adventurer instead of being wed into wealth. Free as a bird and all that jazz and only misses home when staying at crummy inns and low on gold coins.

nah. Her looks was determined by dice rolls, all down to gender, hair, eyes and skin color. The only thing I didn't roll on was Class and Background

I love the armor!! The weapon is design is also amazing. Not to mention how the fur just brings in a sense of ruggedness and power. Gotta say this is an amazing concept, well done!

She has my name! But I am nothing like her, 'cept for all the freckles... But I really do want to wield a rapier and become a warrior....

It's fun to test it out, and it seems they will be successful catering to the haters of 4e, but still will keep most people happy. The edition is still very rough, such as Martial Damage Dice system need some tweaks.
And the Wizard's minor spells have been on and off if it's an at-will or a prepared spell, but right now it is an at-will. I hope they keep it that way in the final version since the wizard is pretty useless without any proper attacks

Nice job on that leather armor design and decoration, and the freckles on her face! Very Celtic seeming. Like the shading as well.

Thank you
finding proper leather armor references that wasn't impractical was a chore, so I worked around a design incorporating various things I liked from many different armors I found

Yes, she is a D&D fighter from the play testing of 5th edition.
Fantasy is a part of the pictures tags, might have popped up because of that
