I came up with 2 ideas!

ONE instead of finding human food gross, ghouls CAN eat human food but it makes them super overweight and blubbery and gluttonous instead HAHAHA


2 they perfected some kinda shot where once a ghoul takes it they can finally eat human food again and kaneki gets,,, carried away idk i guess the shot makes it super delicious or something

Or perhaps a serum was invented that allowed ghouls to eat and it made the food taste so good/ extra fattening that he quickly ballooned up
