Riff spent most of his life living day to day without a care. He did okay in school. Not popular or unpopular, just one of those faces in a crowd. Guitar was his wheelhouse and he was fairly good at it.

Fresh out of high school his band went on tour. Never growing too big but popular enough with the underground scene that he could pay his bills and even try his hand at other hobbies. That's when he fell in love with his true calling: tattooing.

His specialty, blackout tattoos, gain popularity in the tattoo community. He became well know and even became a highly demanded artist, with requests from around the world.

With his tattoo fame on the rise, he would stay at many hotels for nearby tattoo conventions. One day he unknowingly wondered into a buffet being held in one of the hotels he was staying at. Figuring he would swipe some grub, Riff began filling up his plate with delicious food. Looking around he noticed the people in the room were familiar. He had wondered into a billionaires club. Figuring that they wouldnt miss anything, the tattoo artist waltzed by and began picking the pockets of the 1%. Leaving the buffet he made his way to the next con, using the cards and cash in the billfolds to drain some money out of random accounts so the billionaires could make some... Rather generous donations to various charities. He didn't think much about it, laughing it off and going about his business.

A couple of weeks later he woke up to the sounds of sirens. His house was surrounded by cops, and in one sweeping blur he landed his butt in a courtroom for robbery, fraud, and identity theft. The billionaires had tracked him down and weren't too excited about Riff using their hard earned money to give away. It was theft in their eyes and they demanded justice. It was best if a person like Riff was away for good, and he found himself with a life sentence for the Porte.

He's been living here for about 2 years now and making the best of things. He keeps positive and hopes one day that he'll wake up from this terrible nightmare, but until then he's happy to keep on the sunny side of things.
