Oh man, I had the busiest and most awful month ever. I missed school to go to Japan for a week, then I came home with the nastiest stomach virus... I'm basically on week 3. I'm okay, but I'm not 100% yet.This was a rushed hw assignment. We're studying the colors of reflected light and shadows. I did two grapes on top of a blue sheet of paper. I made the shadow too dark... oops
I wanted to do something more interesting, but I was really really sick, so I just did this the morning it was due. Honestly, I'm not hating it though. I guess it's just not finished.

Welcome back! I think this turned out pretty good! I can really see the subtle hints of other colors in the back-lighting. Great stem, too!

I'm glad you like my stem! Honestly it was just a serendipitous result though. I just basically closed my eyes and scribbled it, and it looked like that so I did a little victory dance before getting ready for class... XD I'm usually horrible with stems.

It was good! I registered my dorm room, and turned in my application. I just had to mail them some stuff from Chabot, so I won't be officially accepted until they get the stuff, but it should go smoothly

Still looks very nice. The use of color is great. I actually prefer it like this. sort of "unfinished" I guess. I hate when fruit drawings are too polished. I like that look it has, rough but soft. Very nice.
