Hurray, two more days of not doing homework and working on this instead!
I was originally gonna put her in her original outfit... but it didn't go with her hair, so I decided to stylize her outfit a bit. I'm kind of winging this as I go so I can't really decide on her colors until I finish the mesh. I definitely wanna give a vinyl feel though.
Oh oh, and guess what? I'm going back to the States tomorrow

Your redesign looks quite nice.
I like the hair but I believe you could add a little more variation to it, meaning that I think you could add some more shades of turquoise to make the hair more realistic, the face also looks great.

Yah you're right, it does look quite flat. However, I've decided to remake this model from scratch since she has quite a lot design flaws and I can do better now. I'll be sure to give more values to her hair in that one ^^
