I was/am bored, so here's a lazily arranged pic of SeeU in her original pose along with her data and all that jazz.She's still not done yet... but I'm submitting her as a new comer because there are no visible WIP's anymore. I don't know when she will be finished. I might not be able to release her till I'm settled in Japan, which probably won't be until early April.
... So I noticed that some MMD communites have a folder for "Japanese Models". If a half Jap releases a model from Japan, would that make her a Japanese model? Or is she a filthy evil foreign model? Or a hybrid?
Yeah, I'm really bored.

This was the first model I fully completed including facials and physics. She taught me a textbook's worth about creating complex shapes while trying to use as little vertices as possible, UV mapping, and solid rigging. I struggled a lot while making her, and I loved every second of it, so whether she suits someone else's visual taste isn't a concern for me.

Yesh.... she looks so good you're skills are so good and perfect. I could'nt even make a full anime model in meta nor on Blender(Don't know how to use Blender). Is it east to use blender?

Blender wasn't exactly easy since I had never touched a 3D program before, but there are tons of free tutorials for it out there so if you have the time and will, you can get used to it.
I don't really use it anymore though. I switched to 3ds Max because that's what I use at school.

How long did it took you long to learn on how to use Blender? What is better? Metasequoia, Blender or 3D's MAX. I just really need to know to be used to that program because I think blender and 3ds max are better then meta.

I think it took me about 3 weeks to make my first model which was the Sailor Moon one. I followed tutorials on BlenderCookie and just kinda did my own thing half way because I wanted to keep her low poly.
I can't really say what's better since it's a matter of choice. I couldn't get into Meta because of the lack of tutorials. I like both Blender and 3ds. I like Blender's keyboard short cuts better and it seems easier to work with lighting on it. However, I like 3ds because it's less buggy, and it's really easy to unwrap UV's on it.

What version is what?
They update like once a month so just get the newest. Any tutorial beyond blender 2.5 should have the same layout as the new versions so it shouldn't be all that different.

In my opinion, better than mamama-p's, her SeeU is just TOO moe, yours has a certain more realistic feeling which is really nice

Yah when I sketched her out wayyy in the beginning, she had a more realistic face. Then I changed some features to make her look more stylized, cause realistic faces look stupid with the >< and - - eyes XD

Why did you use the SBS insignia? Shouldn't that not be there... they have nothing to do with this model you made.

As for the logo, I just took it straight out of the original image. There's no reason behind it really, I just wanted to make it look "official".
I can see it as a derogatory term if someone is calling me that as an insult, but I don't see the issue with me calling myself one.

I'm sure you were just kidding, but incase you weren't, I don't take OC commissions. As KinnoHitsuji has stated, it takes so long I'd have to charge three digits just to get paid for the time I spend working on it. I do plan on selling premade models in the future for a small fee though ^^
I should make a post about that though. You're not the first person to bring this up

MMD is a non-commercial use program, so I don't think you can. :C

well model makers take years even decades to make models. Like TDA Miku
models like vocaloid utau,ect cant be sold but models from anime, with permission of anime creator can be sold.
