Description Archaeology is my most scribble-heavy class : D The entire classtime is mostly taking notes so my pencil is constantly on the paper. My margin sketches in there tend to be really rough because the pages fill up fast and I have to move on pretty quick.Β  So we've got some characters, animals, landscapes, class-related illustrations, and random creatures! Lots of Feyrhynn (and another individual of his species with different horns). And a feesh. The deer with one antler was a repeat visitor to my trailcam in the winter (I mean I assume he still is, but by now he will have dropped that one and will be working on growing new antlers, so less easy to identify with certainty)
These sketches are a great incentive to scan all my arc notes. aaaaa not looking forward to the final at all.
This is absolutely going to be a series, so I'll link to the first one:

I like how the spear from one part of your notes looks like it is going into the raptor! Β And I also like the caracal cat there too!

Thanks! The wyvern is a rare one that took up most of the page but I just let it happen. xD
Ah he's fun : D He's some kind of canine/cat/misc. beast with no species name haha.

Hope to see more dragon-like creatures from you)
Does he have a story though?

I've actually got a couple of dragon characters I need to stop neglecting haha.
He does actually c: He goes with a fantasy story of mine; his species isn't tied to any particular world but rather hang around the in-between spaces or occasionally pass through/visit different ones, and don't use language (hence the lack of a species name). Feyhrynn is a rare individual who became fascinated with one or two worlds in particular enough to pick up the language and give himself a name, and mostly restricts his wandering and observations to those.

Does that mean there are more creatures of his kind? Do they communicate in some way?

Yep! Kind of similar to most big cats they're mostly solitary, with some exceptions. They communicate through body language and vocalizations like animals would (and I still need to work out their body language), and for more complicated concepts they can communicate telepathically with each other (usually in memories of sights/sounds/feelings/etc. or to share a "mental map" or something like that).

So if Feyhrynn tried to communicate other creature like him through verbal way, that would be a little confusing?
Does that species communicate with other creatures? And do they need to hunt?
