Deutscher Schäferhund.There wasn't a single proper piece featuring a German Shepherd in my gallery. I also have tried to design a GSD character for myself (since I've never had one) but somehow none of them turns out nicely. On the other hand I already have too many characters ahahaa so nevermind.
I still can't do lineless/realistic stuff, let's say this is close enough.

Tämä tosiaan poikkeaa muista työstä lähikuvallaan ja että et ole
tehnyt samankaltaisia ennen. Ymmärrän että on varmasti hankala
saada aidon näköistä arttia ja kyllä tätä voisi siksi sanoakin, vaikka
hieman tyylitellympi versio siitä on. Tykkään joka osasta tästä ja
muustakin artistasi, tosi monipuolinen tyylivarasto ja näitä tunne
värikuvia on aina ilo katsella! ^^

It may not be hyper-realistic or anything like that, but I really do think you did a great job with this. It's kind of semi-realistic, semi-stylized.. a combination of your style and semi-realism that really works nicely together. I like the loose fur texture and the intense contrasts and eyes. Really sweet composition, too. Brilliant~

The nose is what caught my attention this time, and those whiskers. It looks fantastic, I really enjoy how the fur sort of fades out toward the bottom, as well.

your drawn german shepherd is the most gorgeous one i saw on dA. his eyes are so beautiful! i really love the perspective of this drawing! i think this would be a nice idea for a series of dog breeds.
