I just can't stop rendering her
~simplebob suggested to render her within a 3D environment instead of an HDR map. I think the result turned out pretty good. Hope ya like it

Update: Due to some requests I blurred the reflections a bit. This took 13 hours to render now

Ive been getting into 3d modeling lately and i've wanted to model a mustang any pointers for a newbie? any reference materials that could help me start?

Find the mistake? ^^
You shouldn't start off with something so ambitious. Instead you should first try to model objects with a simple structure like pencils, lighters, mp3 players, mobile phones etc etc to get an idea how to approach certain modeling situations.
I would say that about one year of hard practice is necessary before you can create a car that looks more or less passable.

Yeah... the mustang is the target. so far I've just been modeling chess pieces and various simple objects most of which i haven't thought DA worthy. Thanks for the advice.
